Cancellations
If you cancel or reschedule within 2 days (48 hours) of your appointment, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee at my discretion. If you “no show” your appointment without any communication, you will be charged the cancellation fee and not be allowed to book again. The cancellation fee is equivalent to 50% of the cost of the service booked. This policy does not apply to color corrections as they require a deposit for booking.
Children
Please discuss with me ahead of time if you need children to accompany you to your appointment. There are many dangerously hot and sharp objects in the salon, as well as potentially dangerous chemicals. I will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur if you choose to bring your child(ren) to the salon. In addition, the tools and equipment in the salon are expensive; if you choose to bring your child(ren) to the salon and they break something, you will be asked to pay for any damages caused to my property. I love children, but this is not the place for them! For the safety of your child(ren) and this salon, I encourage you to find childcare for the duration of your appointment.
Dissatisfaction
I want everyone to be beyond satisfied with their service and strongly encourage extremely thorough in-person consultations with me, including inspiration photos, before I do any work on your hair. Any dissatisfaction with your service should be mentioned to me right away. To accommodate all clients and manage everyone’s expectations, the issue may be handled immediately (if time allows), or you may be asked to return at another time to resolve the issue. It is of the utmost importance to me that you are happy! Note: any new requests that do not align with original service consultation will result in added service charges.
Professional Discretion
I strive to achieve the goals of everyone that sits in my chair. However, sometimes I can see that I may not be the right fit for a service or may even feel that it’s outside my level of expertise. If this is the case I believe that it is in mine and my clients best interest to not perform the service and reserve the right to decline moving forward for any reason.
Tardiness
I do my very best to be on time for clients and ask the same in return. Any chance of running late for an appointment should be communicated with me as soon as possible and I shall do the same for you. If you arrive later than 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time with no communication, I reserve the right to call a “no show.”
Deposits
A deposit is required when it is determined that a color correction is necessary. Deposits are non-refundable and can only be transferred to another day and/or time if the appointment is rescheduled prior to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. If you “no show” or attempt to reschedule the appointment WITHIN 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, I reserve the right to keep the original deposit and request a new one for the new appointment. I don’t like doing this, so please make sure you communicate with me and I will try to be as flexible as possible.
